We would like to advise you that you are using the information services offered here and their functions on your own responsibility. This applies, in particular, to the use of the interactive functions (e.g. share, rate, comment). Alternatively, you can also access the information provided via these pages on our website at https://www.metabo.com/com/en/.

2. Processed data

You can find information about which data is processed by the respective information services and the purposes for which this is used in the corresponding data privacy statements.

Facebook Ireland Ltd.: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy
Instagram: https://help.instagram.com/519522125107875
YouTube LLC: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de
LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy?_l=de_DE
Twitter International Company: https://twitter.com/de/privacy

Metabowerke GmbH has no influence on the type and scope of the data processed by the information services, the nature of the processing and use or the forwarding of this data to third parties. Metabowerke GmbH also has no effective monitoring facilities.

When you use these data services, your personal data will be recorded, transmitted, stored, disclosed and used by the information services and thereby transmitted to the United States, Ireland and any other country where the information services operate, irrespective of your place of residence, and saved and used there.

On the one hand, the information services process your voluntarily provided data, such as your name and username, e-mail address, telephone number or the contacts from your address book if you upload or synchronise these.

On the other hand, the information services also analyse the contents shared by you to determine which topics you are interested in, save and process confidential messages which you send directly to other users, and can determine your location on the basis of GPS data, information on wireless networks or via your IP address, in order to send you advertising or other contents.

Finally, the information provider is also informed if you view contents, for example, even if you have not created an account. These so-called “log files” may include the IP address, the type of browser, the operating system, information on the previously accessed website and the pages accessed by you, your location, your mobile provider, the device used by you (including device ID and application ID), the search terms and cookie information used by you.

Via buttons or widgets of the information services that are embedded in web pages and the use of cookies, it is possible for the information services to record your visits to these web pages and to assign them to your profile. Contents or advertising tailored to you may be offered on the basis of this data.

How the information services use the data from your visit to the corresponding pages for their own purposes, to what extent activities on the corresponding pages are assigned to individual users, for how long the information services store this data and whether data from a visit to the corresponding pages is passed on to third parties is not specified clearly and conclusively by the information providers and is not known to us with regard to the aforementioned data processing.

As the information providers are non-European providers, they are not, by their own interpretation, bound by European data protection regulations. This relates, for example, to their rights to access, block or delete data or the possibility of objecting to a use of usage data for advertising purposes.

If you would like to prevent data processing by the specified providers, you should log out of these or deactivate the function “remain logged in”, delete the cookies that are available on your device and close and restart your browser. In this way, information which allows you to be directly identified will be deleted. Thus, you can use the pages of the information services without your identification on those sites being revealed. If you access interactive functions of the pages (like, comment, share, message, tweet, play etc.), a login window for the respective social media site will appear. After you have logged in, you are again identifiable as a specific user for the respective information service.

3. Data processed by Metabowerke GmbH

As the provider of the information service, we also collect and process only statistic data arising from your use of our service. The data entered by you on the platforms, especially your username and the contents published under your account, shall, however, be processed by us to the extent that we comment on your comments or reply to these or we, on our part, compose comments which refer to your account.

4. Rights, documentation, evaluation
You can find the valid version of this data privacy statement under “Data privacy” on the various fan pages.
